Kane was surrendered by his owner along with his passture mate, a Paso Fino mare named Kahula de Puerta (Princesca) when health concerns made it difficult to provide care.As a FIRST RESPONDER rescue, we provide safe refuge to horses and a sense of peace to the owners during difficult times when new homes need to be found.Kane is blind in the Right eye but that does not seem to hinder him in any way.Kane is a VERY easy keeper so is restricted from grass unless he is wearing a grazing muzzle.
