Dest'Y

This tall, handsome Arabian gelding was on the short list for a trip to the Mexican slaughterhouse in August of 2008. Fortunately, the promise of a bright future was recognized in his kind eye and he was given a chance at life when Rainbow Meadows was contacted by Shooting Star Equine Rescue and Stables, Inc, near Topeka, Kansas, telling us that he only had one day before his fate would be sealed. The ransom was paid to the kill buyer and his future was ensured. Dest'y was adopted to a loving forever home, but illness and financial difficulties led to his adopters needing to return him to Rainbow Meadows. Dest’Y was adopted a second time and spent just under 9 years with his beloved adopter. Sadly, health issues for his adopter required that he be returned to Rainbow Meadows once again,

Dest'y is an elegant and graceful boy, always seeking human companionship, and will make a wonderful partner to his new adopters.
