Fritz MS Annie

Seized in July 2010 by the Coffey County Sheriff, Annie was among 80+ horses, donkeys and mules removed from a Waverly, KS residence. All of the animals were malnourished - some severely emaciated due to lack of adequate nutrition - and suffered from a number of maladies, including parasitism, inadequate hoof care, rain rot, scratches and other issues. Rainbow Meadows was involved in the coordination of a placement process which found new, forever homes, for all of the equines and accepted responsibility for four of the horses, including Annie. Annie completed her rehabilitation and went on to be saddle trained while at Rainbow Meadows. Annie was adopted once but due to financial issues, had to be returned. She wasn't back at Rainbow Meadows long before another family opened their hearts to her. She now shows with a little girl all her own.
