Seized in early December 2023, along with four other pasture mates, Kote was in poor body condition for a young, growing boy.
In addition, he was heavily parasitized. Kote recovered quickly under the care of Rainbow Meadows.
Kote is relatively unskilled in his groundwork. However, he is very people friendly, and tractable.
Kote has what appears to be some permanent facial paralysis, present prior to seizure. While he does pack feed into that area, it does not impact his ability to maintain his nutritional status.
He will need someone capable and confident in handling and training a youngster. Kote will not be allowed to be started under saddle until he has had no less than 48 months of life on earth. He will not be allowed to participate in any competitive endeavors until he is at least six years old.
