Liz

Liz

Seized in September 2010 by the Coffey County Sheriff, Liz was among 80+ horses, donkeys and mules removed from a Waverly, KS residence. All of the animals were malnourished - some severely emaciated due to lack of adequate nutrition - and suffered from a number of maladies, including parasitism, inadequate hoof care, rain rot, scratches and other issues. Rainbow Meadows was involved in the coordination of a placement process which found new, forever homes for all of the equines and accepted responsibility for four of the horses, including Liz. She is blind in one eye, but does not demonstrate any concern with the blindness. Liz completed her rehabilitation and has now found her forever home.
