Thorne 

Thorne is a "Diamond in the rough". His movement screams Missouri Fox Trotter.  
 

He was rescued from a barn in NE Kansas where his needs were not being met.  His "saviors" were caught off-guard by his agressive behavior and were not equipped to help him through his trauma. 

Rainbow Meadows was asked to consider him for admission despite his agression.  We agreed.  Within a few short training sessions using R+ (positive behavior reinforcement) he moved past some of his trauma and makes better choices. 

Thorne bonds nicely with a calm, confident, and patient handler.  He is reportedly trained under saddle.
