Pepper

Shag and Pepper were purchased at a kill sale in the early 1990's in Arkansas by a wonderful couple who were involved informally in the rescue of dogs and cats. The geldings lived with this couple in a life of luxury, until the downturn in the economy caused foreclosure of their residence. A widespread effort was made by various rescue agencies to find homes for all the dogs, cats and horses, including a blind pony named Daisy. Rainbow Meadows agreed to step in to care for Shag and Pepper and find forever homes for these great guys. They are both aging gentlemen with lots of life remaining to share with their new adopters.
