Skye

Skye was born to Sable, who lived her life in rural north central Oklahoma as ranch horse turned brood marewith minimal human interaction. Skye, along with Sable and Spirit, came to Rainbow Meadows following an owner surrender due to her owner’s advancing age. Skye is reported to have been started under saddle around the age of two or three years old, but was not ridden following that training. She is currently being restarted at Rainbow Meadows and we have found that she harbors a deep resentment when saddled indicating a very negative experience with her initial saddle training. Skye will require a professional trainer to help her through her saddle issues or be a beautiful and kind companion.
