My journey with horses started when I was at the age of four. Throughout my life I connectedwith groups such as 4-H and Christian horse camps allowing me continued contact with theseamazing creatures. Throughout my life I have enjoyed my horse companions and missed havingthem around as a constant. After our family was called to Fort Riley, I was eager to connect withhorses in the area. In 2021 I was introduced to Rainbow Meadows Equine Rescue. Over thelast four years working as a volunteer my horse partnership has grown and I’ve been able tobring horse and mental health together. As a mental health provider, connecting horse andmental health is like a dream come true for myself and my clients. I love bringing these twoworlds together as well as falling in love with our many rescue done right horses.
